Airbnb registration form

Dear guest,

Welcome to our building! We’re happy to have you here and hope you enjoy your stay.

Before your arrival, we kindly ask that you take a moment to read through some important information about the building and the house rules. This is a residential community where approximately 400 people live year-round, and we appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain a peaceful and safe environment for everyone.

Kiellands Hus is classified as a special fire object by the City of Oslo. This is because the building contains residential apartments, a shopping center, and a gas station within the same building complex. As a result, stricter fire safety and emergency preparedness requirements apply than in many ordinary residential buildings.

For this reason, all guests staying in the building through short-term rentals must be registered before arrival. In the event of a fire, evacuation, or other emergency, it is important that building management and emergency services know who may be staying in the building and how many people may require assistance.

The information collected through this registration form is used solely for safety and emergency preparedness purposes and will only be accessed if required in connection with an emergency or other incident affecting the building.

We appreciate your cooperation and ask that you familiarize yourself with the information and rules provided for your stay.

Fire Safety

The fire alarm system is directly connected to the Oslo Fire and Rescue Service emergency call centre (110).

Smoke detectors are part of a centrally monitored fire alarm system and must never be disconnected, removed, covered, tampered with, or otherwise interfered with.

Any damage to or interference with fire safety equipment may affect the safety of other residents and can result in significant repair costs and emergency response charges for the apartment owner.

Common areas such as stairwells, entrances, elevators, and outdoor spaces should be kept clean and quiet. Smoking is not allowed in these areas.

All garbage must be disposed of in the designated garbage rooms, not in the hallways or building entrances.

For tenants at Uelands Gate 53 and Landstads Gate 2: The garbage room is located at Uelands Gate, and the door has a sign that says: *AVFALLSROM OPPGANG B OG C*.

For tenants at Waldemar Thranes Gate 72 and Kingos Gate 8: The garbage room is located at Kingos Gate and has a sign that says: *AVFALLSROM OPPGANG A OG D*.

Roof top terrace and backyard
In the summer, residents and their guests are allowed to use the rooftop terrace and the backyard. However, since the building is very sound-sensitive and noises echo off the walls, playing music is not permitted either on the rooftop terrace or in the backyard.

The rooftop terrace is open during the following hours:

Weekdays: 09:00-23:00
Weekends: 11:00-23:00

Balconies and terraces should be used considerately. Please avoid parties or loud conversations outdoors, especially in the evening.

Security: For everyone’s safety, please make sure the front door to the building is always closed properly.

Security Service: The property has an agreement with Integra Security AS. In the event of noise disturbances, unwanted incidents, or other matters requiring attention, the security service may be contacted.

Contact information for the security service is posted in the elevators and at the entrances to the residential corridors.

Kind regards,
The board at Kielland’s Hus

Do you have one or more pets with you?
Why do we ask about pets? The safety of both residents and animals is important to us. In the event of a fire, evacuation, or other emergency, it can be helpful to know whether pets may be present in the apartment, even if the occupants are away. This information is collected solely for emergency preparedness and safety purposes.
